GOLDILOCKS ROOM (15-26 MONTHS)

In Goldilocks our children are building on and refining their physical skills, and learning about balance and spacial awareness. All areas of the room are freely accessible to the children so they are able to choose the activity/ play area of their choice, and then learn to tidy up after themselves. The children are encouraged to move freely from one activity to the other, learning to become independent.

Sand and water are readily available for when the children choose to play with them.

The children are helped to learn the different uses of equipment and toys in the environment by learning aids such as in the home corner, construction area, dressing up box, book corner, counting aids and mark making aids.

Each child has their own key person, to track the learning and development of the child and document it on our electronic learning journal- 'Learning Book'.
